The Importance of the Educational, Vocational and Technical Training in Promoting Business Sector

(Dr. Iman Al-Terify) - In Sudan you find that 95% of educational system is academic, while the vocational and technical training were neglected

, less than 5% is percentage of the technical and vocational education, the matter that contradicts the fact of developing country like Sudan which endowed with natural resources and huge unexploited wealth, alongside large number of university degree holders jobless, illiteracy and unqualified cadres in different areas.
No doubt, the technical and vocational training provides skilled workers and offers qualified employers to business houses, also it avails an opportunities to private sectors and increases the rate of production and economic progress and curbs unemployment.
The Technical Educational: 
It is a type of education that aims at providing individuals with capability to acquire technical and cultural information which enable them to perfection of work, this category of education include theoretical method accompanied by applications and training, when students end basic education can join technical schools to study 3 years to obtain secondary diploma certificate in technical and vocational training that enable them to continue high education or to be employed.
Technical education divided into three sections, commercial, agricultural and industrial, technical and vocational education assist individuals to acquire talents and good behavior to meet the market of employment to overcome organizational structure defect due to the demand and supply.
We know that training is not for increasing production only, but also leads to more confidence among workers and enhance aspirations, training also creates job satisfaction which avail chance to domestic and external competition.
The educational system of technical and vocational training:
There are various types of technical education, the first type is allows students learn only in schools and training centers, the second one is a combination between school and production sites and the last type is gives chance to students to stay at working and production locations.
The experiment of technical education in Malaysia:
Malaysia is one of South East Asian countries adopted educational development policy to utilize its own human resources to realize the objective of making Malaysia one of the biggest industrial countries by 2020, Malaysia assumes the policy of mixing general and technical education that enables students get vocational training at their early ages.
Indian Experiment:
India is a pioneer country in combating unemployment through technical and vocational educational policies based on vocational courses, India adopts open educational system, there is strong relation between education, employment and industrial system.
France Experiment:
A tremendous industrial educational development occurred in France, it adopts decentralization in education which allows local secondary certificate throughout the country, in France you can find scientific study of information which use technological system in education alongside using TV. France schools concentrate on mechanic tools, informative industry and database to know the resources, requirements and manufacturing ways.
US experiment:
Technical education plays a crucial role  in US, students are discovered at early stages to see their technical talents, therefore we find various types of technical and vocational training programs like industrial arts, scientific study of computer, computer culture, manual use safety, designing and equipments of mineral operation.
