Guidance Ministry Receives Indonesian Ambassador to Sudan

Khartoum - Minister of Guidance and Endowment, Abu Baker Osman Ibrahim received in his office yesterday the Indonesian Ambassador to Sudan, Mr. Burhan alDin Badr alZaman. The meeting discussed the distinguished relations between the two countries, where the Indonesian conveyed appreciation to the Sudanese Government during his long service in Sudan.
The Minister of Guidance enumerated the roles of Indonesia in the Islamic World and the role Indonesian Ministry of Islamic Affairs in promoting the moderate Islam in Indonesia. He assured his ministry commitment to continue in cooperation and communication with Indonesia. He pointed out to the important of signing a Memorandum of Understanding to activate Daawa work between Sudan and Indonesia, and the coordination between the two countries in the field of Daawa.
For his part the Indonesian Ambassador expressed his gratitude and thanks to Sudan and the warm welcoming of the Ministry of Guidance and Endowment. He expressed his pleasure with the lifting of the US economic sanctions.
