Khartoum - The Chairman of the Sudanese Businessmen Union, Saud Mamoun Al Berair, has said that the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Khartoum
is intending to establish a specialized office at the embassy for boosting the economic, investment and trade relations between the two sisterly countries.
Al Berair, speaking to the press after a meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ali Bin Hassan, Tuesday, said they agreed on the importance of boosting the economic relations further and setting up of a special office at the embassy to follow up the economic and investment issues and removal of all obstacles that face the Saudi investments in Sudan and the joint ones.
He pointed out that the specialized office will be inaugurated during the activities of the meeting of the Sudanese-Saudi Business Council, scheduled for Khartoum on December 11.
The Chairman of the Sudanese Businessmen Union indicated that his meeting with the ambassador stressed the importance of the role of the private sector in boosting the relations of cooperation between the two sisterly countries, noting that agreement has been reached to hold working meetings between the union and the ambassador every two months.
He said the Ambassador pledged during the meeting to spare no efforts for boosting further the relations of cooperation between the two sisterly countries through development of the existing Saudi investments in Sudan and attracting more capitals from the Saudi private sector to the country.
Al Berair reaffirmed readiness of the Sudanese private sector to cooperate with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Khartoum to promote the joint economic relations into wider horizons.
