KHARTOUM - The Chairman of Permanent Arab Committee for Human Rights Amjad Bahjat Shamout is set to arrive in Khartoum at the invitation
by the Sudanese Minister of Justice and Sudan Human Rights Advisory Council.
Shamout is expected to meet a number of parties concerned with human rights to discuss ways of promoting and development human rights in the country, in addition to obstacles faceting authorities to that end.
He will also get acquainted with the impact of unilateral coercive measures on Sudan and ways to oppose such measures through international and regional human rights mechanisms.
The Chairman of Permanent Arab Committee for Human Rights will also deliver a lecture on human rights situation in the Arab world as well as mechanisms and programs carried out to promote human rights.
Shamout, within his visit, is scheduled to meet officials and national institutions active in the field of human rights in Sudan.
