Sudan, Germany Coordinate in Curbing Smuggling and Human Trafficking

Khartoum – (smc) Sudanese government revealed a close coordination between Sudan and Germany to curb smuggling and human trafficking.
Germany affirmed its commitment to support refugees and providing their essential services.
Refugees’ Acting Commissioner, Adil Dafallah said after meeting with the visiting German delegation that the two parties discussed the situations of the refugees especially in eastern Sudan, besides the asylum seekers along with providing the German delegation with the number of refugees and the areas they entered from to Sudan.
He added that the delegation affirmed support to the refugees and providing the local authorities with the required assistance
For his part Refugees’ Commissioner Assistant to Eastern States told (SMC) that the security situations in the camps are stable, pointing out to the flow of refugees from the neighbouring countries which amounts between 100 – 200 daily. He affirmed that none of the refugees was subject to smuggling or human trafficking in the recent days, adding that those who are subject to human trafficking are those who do not register their names officially.
