Sudan Calls on JICA for More Income-generation Projects

Khartoum - State Minister at the Foreign Ministry, Kamal Ismail praised the development projects implemented by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency, "JICA", in Sudan, calling for further projects that contribute to the eradication of poverty, income-generation, training and capacity building.
Ismail had ended a visit to Japan at the invitation of his counterpart, State Minister at the Japanese Foreign Ministry, during the period between December 18 to 24.
The two sides discussed ways to develop international and regional relations between the two countries and common concerns.
Ismail thanked the Japanese official for his country support to Sudan’s file accession to the World Trade Organization, referring to the importance of coordinating efforts in the framework of Sudan's quest for WTO accession.
 The Sudanese official invited the Japanese businessmen and companies to invest in Sudan, indicating to the investment opportunities, benefits and resources of the Sudan.
The Sudanese minister had held a number of meetings during the visit.
