Cabinet State Minister Confirms the State's Interest in the Expatriates Issues

Khartoum – State Minister of the Council of Ministers, Jamal Mahmoud headed, here yesterday, the meeting of Board of Directors of the Secretariat of the Sudanese Working Abroad (SSWA), where he confirmed the interest of the state of the issues of expatriates and facilitate the services provided to them by using modern technology, He called for strengthening the trust between expatriates and banking, economic and microfinance institutions.
The minister pointed out to the importance of convening the conference of  the Sudanese experts  abroad to bridge the knowledge.
The minister praised the efforts of the SSWA to provide services to expatriates and upgrading capabilities of the staff through training.
The meeting reviewed the performance report for 2016, and the plan of 2017, presented by SSWA Secretary-General, Ambassador Karrar Al-Tohami, which included the participation of expatriates in the community dialogue, employ of the savings of expatriates and the role of the national mechanism for the protection of Sudanese abroad and the establishment of the national fund for voluntary return.
The meeting insured on the importance of tightening coordination with the relevant authorities to provide distinct and advanced services to the Sudanese working abroad.
