Agreement to Establish African Center for Gum Arabic in Khartoum

Khartoum - (SUNA) Gum  Arabic Council announced an agreement with the United Nations  Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Switzerland to establish an African center for Gum Arabic in Khartoum, funded by the United Nations, in September, in conjunction with the establishment of the reference laboratory in Sudan.
Secretary General of the Gum Arabic Council, Dr. Abdul Majid Abdul Gadir said that the center aims to serve the issues and care of African countries and provide their needs of Gum Arabic, referring to the efforts of the Embassy of Sudan in Geneva in this regard, adding that it is scheduled to be implemented in September under the auspices of the FVP, National Prime Minister, Bakri Hassan Salih.
