Governor: "No Place for Warmongers in S. Kordofan"

Khartoum -- South Kordofan communities will no longer tolerate any warmongers and will not be welcome anymore in the region, the Governor of the state Gen. Eissa Adam Abakar has warned.
"We don't want any guns but hoes," the governor said during his speech rally in Hamadi town.
He accentuated his government support for peaceful coexistence conferences, which he said are key to reconstruction and development in the state.
Abakar further underscored the importance of native administrations' role in restoring and achieving security in South Kordofan, demanding the administrations play additional role in the coming phase to end tensions, combat robbery in aid of stability and security.
The governor reiterated his call on rebel leaders of Sudan People's Liberation Movement – North (SPLM-N), namely Abdul-Aziz Al-Hilu to resort to reason and join the peace process in favor of "sustainable peace", according to him.
