Khartoum - The Director of the Turkish Coordination and cooperation Agency (TIKA) Engineer Celalettin Gungenci
has disclosed that he was directed by the Headquarters of the Agency in Ankara to work on serving the Sudanese citizens in all spheres of cooperation between the two countries particularly in the services fields.
He said while inaugurating midwives qualification course which was held by TIKA in coordination with the Health Sciences Academy that a Turkish delegation comprising the most outstanding doctors in motherhood and childhood health will present this course to the midwives targeting fifty of them.
He affirmed that a Sudanese delegation will visit Turkey during the coming period for arranging for a course to be held by TIKA for eleven midwives in Ankara noting that these midwives have joined English language training course in preparation for the midwifery course which will be held in his country stressing that there is cooperation in the field of media and will be expanded during the coming period while the joint projects implemented by the organization will go ahead.
Gungenci affirmed that TIKA will go ahead with implementing its projects in Sudan noting that the Turkish hospital in Neyala is operating efficiently and the projects implemented by TIKA will not stop.
The Dean of medical sciences college Dr Ismail Bushara on his part said there are opportunities presented by TIKA in the field of post-graduate studies while a number of midwives started learning Turkish language in preparation for these scholarships.
