Khartoum - Mona Al Bashir The International Organization for Sudan Defense reported that the key information incorporated in Ocampo's report against President Al-Bashir has been collected from some insurgents of Darfur Armed Movements, and Ocampo did not mention those sources.
Organization Secretary General Mohammed Al-Ansari, said that the Organization has paid trips into Darfur and all the sites that Ocampo has mentioned in his report, conducted detailed investigations on the crimes alleged in his report. Ansari informed that no single rape crime was traced in the school of Tawiela on the date specified by Ocampo, as the date he mentioned corresponds to Friday, while girl students usually leave dormitories on Thursdays for their weekend at their distant home villages." During the survey we have conducted all the citizens of Darfur affirmed that it was the Sudan Army Force (SAF) that had been guarding them against rebels. According to him, they added that they usually enjoy peace and security during SAF presence and suffer rebels' aggressions otherwise,"he said Addressing the press conference held by the Organization at the National Congress Party House, Al-Ansari said that the outcome of that survey invalidates Ocampo's allegations that SAF was victimizing citizens. It is worth noting that the Organization, a voluntary one, was setup on the heels of the ICC resolution issued last March. According to its Chief, Alrasheed Mohammed Khair, the Organization was able to assume a legal status within the ICC and bring witnesses who refuted the claims set by the Court Chief Prosecutor.
Mohammed Khair said that they have put together a facts finding team which embraces ex-police officers, legal figures for nullifying genocide allegations charged by Ocampo
