Sports: Sunderland Completes Signing of Gyan

Sunderland completed the signing of Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan from Rennes on Tuesday for a club record fee of 13 million pounds (20 million dollars). The striker, who was one of the stars of the World Cup, flew into the north-east on Monday, and completed personal terms around an hour before the transfer window closed on Tuesday. He has agreed a four-year deal.
